Ask for referrals

Ask happy customers to introduce you to other business owners.

A happy customer is your cheapest source of new prospects. Ask while they are still pleased — right after launch, after a good result, or after a check-in where they tell you the site is working.

What happens

  1. 1Ask at a natural high point
  2. 2Be specific: who do they know in the same trade
  3. 3Offer a referral link or QR code to share
  4. 4Thank the referrer and log the introduction
  5. 5Follow up with the new contact the same day

What to say

“Who's the next business owner you know who could use a better website? I'm happy to show them what we showed you.”
